STARLINE ANNOUNCES 
TRANSITION TO SOLAR ENERGY

Starline has transitioned to 100% solar energy in a new partnership with a community solar farm. The announcement marks a milestone in the company’s ongoing sustainability efforts toward reducing carbon emissions. 

“Our mission at Starline is to be a true partner to our distributors, and that goes beyond products and service,” says Starline CRO Brian Porter. “We realize that decisions are being made at a global level, and our initiative to be completely solar powered was driven not only within Starline, but by partner feedback about what they want in a supplier, and that’s accountability.”
 
"We’re thrilled to have partnered with the new 40-acre solar farm on Grand Island, enabling us to run entirely on clean power." says CRO Brian Porter. "This initiative, while part of a larger sustainability strategy, represents a crucial milestone in our journey to lower our carbon emissions."

PLANET WATER FOUNDATION - WATER4GOOD

In Partnership with PromoCares, Starline is donating a percentage of Urban Peak drinkwae sale in April and May to the Planet Water Foundation. Planet Water installs community-based water filtration systems in impoverished communities, focusing on schools and children. They also provide water-health and hygiene education programs to create change in behaviors, and knowledge around water-health and hygienic practices.

Healthy rainforests are critical to a healthy planet. Rainforest Trust operates largely by creating protected areas (a cost-effective way to prevent deforestation), safeguarding biodiversity, fighting the climate crisis, and maintaining the health of all species on our planet. Starline is setting our sights on saving 3,000 acres or year.

FEEDMORE WNY

The most highly anticpated, and longest running employee event of the year is creating and raffling off themed baskets during the holiday season. Internal departments compete to create the most creative themes, and employees purchase tickets - the proceeds of which go to a local charity. This past year, Starline donated over $20,000 to FeedMore WNY. Starline also holds volunteering sessions where they are paid by Starline during volunteer sessions at the Feedmore facility.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Each year the BGC donates thousands of backpacks in the local community filled with school supplies to families in need. Starline donates hundreds of backpacks and water bottles to help with their annual event!
